Project coordinator

Locations: new York & Miami

 

Overview/position summary:

As a Project Coordinator, you will support the project managers and team with coordination and organization of projects at various stages of the project life cycle leading towards successful completion, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Process, review, maintain and monitor project orders. Reporting and documenting issues that will impact schedule and budget.

  • Maintain project status report and report weekly to team.

  • Support in gathering pricing and supporting information for proposal, budgets and RFP responses.

  • Work closely with project manager in pre-delivery, delivery and post delivery process.

  • Provide administrative support as needed during various stages of project life cycle.


QUALIFICATIONS/skills/abilities:

  • 2+ years of customer service and coordinator experience within in the industry or related.

  • Associates Degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication with superior organization skills.

  • Attentive to detail, motivated and effective working independently and as part of a team.

  • Competent in Microsoft applications. Experience with Team Design, CAP 2020, Project Matrix preferred but not essential.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple projects through the full project life cycle towards a successful completion. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of aproject from initial programming and budgeting to completion of punch-list.

  • Lead and manage communication between all project teams including client, A&D and vendor partners, outside consultants and internal team.

  • Respond to client and vendor day-to-day needs are required.

  • Maintain relationships with clients and vendor partners in good standing.

  • Responsible for the overview of project specifications, pricing and schedule.

  • Perform site visits during specification process, pre-installation and during installation.

  • Experience leading furniture projects.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication with strong organization and time management skills.

  • Attentive to detail, problem solver who works effectively independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of one or more of the following: FF&E project management, office furniture systems and applications, architectural andconstruction process and vocabulary, read and understand project drawings.
